Thank you for your feedback! I’m really sorry to hear the colour wasn’t quite what you expected. Our hip flasks are made from remnant pieces from our wider leatherwork, and we always use the same three hide colours shown in the photos: oak brown, peat brown, and charcoal black. Because each piece is cut from different areas of the hides, the exact shapes can vary, which is part of what makes every flask unique; but we do use the same balance of pieces each time (for example, two of each colour on our 6oz flasks).
