Very nice flask but the colour is much darker than shown . I understand that the colours will differ a little but the one I received was different shades of dark brown. This was disappointing as my partner wanted more tan in it.
Thank you for your feedback! I’m really sorry to hear the colour wasn’t quite what you expected. Our hip flasks are made from remnant pieces from our wider leatherwork, and we always use the same three hide colours shown in the photos: oak brown, peat brown, and charcoal black. Because each piece is cut from different areas of the hides, the exact shapes can vary, which is part of what makes every flask unique; but we do use the same balance of pieces each time (for example, two of each colour on our 6oz flasks). We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as it helps us continue improving how we present our products.
I was looking for a leather wristband and stumbled across the Hord website. My wristband is one of a kind, well-made and arrived very quickly. It has my name engraved in runes. I loved it so much I also ordered a studded one. Great customer service too.
I do like the smell of the cones, but I’ve found that they’re not great at retaining the ‘burn’ - each cone has extinguished itself at least three times after lighting. Despite following the instructions (and running some diagnostics, like moving out of a draught), this keeps happening. It’s only a mild inconvenience, but, for the price, I’d expect more. A bad batch, perhaps?
